Important information on platform migration.
On Wednesday 10 March 2021 the current SVM platform will be migrating across to a new platform. SVM is part of a larger business called Blackhawk Network, who will be hosting the shopping platform on their own site.
The shopping platform will not be available from 9.00am on Wednesday 10 March 2021 to 9.00am on Thursday 11 March 2021, while the migration takes place.

Please note that the SVM platform only accepts Debit Cards at this time.
How will this impact me?
If you already have an account with the SVM platform, your account will transfer across to the new platform. However, you will not be able to access your account from 9.00am on Wednesday 10 March 2021 to 9.00am on Thursday 11 March 2021 while the migration takes place.
Will I be notified when the migration has taken place?
You will be sent a welcome email, which will encourage you to change your password within 24 hours. If you do not receive this email or miss the 24 hour time period, then you can click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ button to change your password.
Are there any changes to specific retailers?
Most retailers will migrate across to the new platform during the migration period of 9.00am on Wednesday 10 March 2021 to 9.00am on Thursday 11 March 2021. However some retailers will have a slightly different arrangement:
- ASDA Cards – Unfortunately the migration will be unable to transfer your cards across. You can still spend the balance on the cards, but you will need to order new cards for any future loads and spends.
- John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Argos and B&Q – If you have a card for one of these retailers then your card will move across to the new platform as part of the migration. However, to ensure that this takes place in time, the migration of these retailers will take place earlier, between Monday 22 February – Friday 26 February 2021.
Unfortunately you will not be able to load or order cards for these retailers between Friday 26 February and 9.00am Thursday 11 March 20201. If you have money loaded onto cards, you will still be able to spend during this period.

The platform will not be available to set-up an account between 9.00am on Wednesday 10 March 2021 to 9.00am on Thursday 11 March 2021.
- If you set-up an account before 9.00am on Wednesday 10 March 2021, then your account will migrate across (see details in Information for SVM account holder)
- If you set-up an account after 9.00am on Thursday 11 March 2021, then you will be setting up an account on the new platform and will not be impacted by the migration.
